Diving in...an aquarium!
Last weekend, we took the students from school to dive with the sharks at Underwater World, on Sentosa Island. It was a great experience and I manage to join the last group. We were led to the back area, where we geared up. When we slipped into the tanks, we could see the tourists walking through the giant tunnel, taking pictures of us.
Once settled, we fed the eagle rays, the napoleon wrasses and a few other big fishes. The underbelly of the ray is very soft. I kept on putting a hand on their bellies as I fed them. Nice! After a while, the guide went to get a leopard shark and shoved it in our arms. This guy looks smooth and slimmy, but he feels a bit more like sand paper or something. Hard to describe.
