READ poster

Have you ever seen those READ posters around? We have them in a few places at school. They are usually pictures of Hollywood stars reading. Our middle school decided it would be cool if each teacher would pose with their favorite books to create our own posters, and show kids that we were all active readers. Well, here's my picture! The books are a bit out of focus, but I still like it.

Pool monkeys!

Took pictures of my students during my swim class. I thought they were so cute! I had my scuba gear at school, so I told them to come and visit me in the deep end if they wanted me to take pictures of them. They were everywhere! They looked like little mermaids/ merkids! They also had to compete in a biathlon today, so I let the winners of each class take a few pictures themselves (the close up with the girl that seems to be screaming was taken by an eleven year old girl). The other two pics are my 7th graders. Well, we're done with the pool for the moment: tomorrow, we start indoor wall climbing. I suck at it, but the kids don't need to know ;-)
